~Party Princess~

Image
Well, I have decided to do a Princess Theme Party for my little girls birthday! Let me know what you think and if anyone knows any good websites to visit for inspiration please let me know! I would really appreciate it. I don't plan to do these type of cupcakes but I do want a 3-tier to hold the cupcakes like the Princess ones above. Don't you just love these candles? They are so great!! I really love the glass decoration for extra light at night, but I'm not too sure since there will be kids hanging around, so maybe I can put it up high or just not light them. I don't know yet. I might not even do it. I love the idea above of the canned goods that they recycled and wrapped with decorative paper. I believe I am going to do with but with some pretty pink princess paper to hold the forks and so forth. I've decided I want to serve a few foods to match the color theme. I love those pink and white strawberries and all the pink candies in the glass bowls & containe

The Fairy Castle

This is our beautiful, little Fairy Castle made from natural materials. It is such an amazing house. I will be adding more detailed video footage of the house soon, but this will give you an idea of the incredible intricacy and beauty of this forest creation!! More beautiful photos of our Fairy House!

Image
Here are more wonderful photographs taken by our dear friend and photographer Christy McCullough. Everytime I look at these pictures, I cannot believe how breathtakingly beautiful they are. I don't know how she captures the tiny shafts of light and little dappled areas around the Fairy House......these are just truely wondrous photographs, that really do show how beautiful this creation is! When I look at these pictures, I remember the afternoon my husband Mike and I and our son Michael spent with Christy at the most enchanted, beautiful and peaceful park I have ever been to. I still think of that park and how magical it was. It was amazing to watch Christy photograph our treehouses and little furniture. She was so focused and intent on capturing just the right feeling of the pieces. The park was very natural, not a manicured, perfect looking park, but much of it was left natural, like what you would see if you were really just walking in the woods. Many of the trees were huge. Wonderful new pictures!!!

We recently met the most wonderful photographer in California at a show we did there. Christy McCullough, whose photograhs of children are truely breathtaking, was so kind to take photographs of our treehouses and little fairy furniture. Our booths were right next to each other and we became instant friends.....kindred spirits, definitely! She is such a sweet, beautiful and fun person. The show didn't go so well, but I knew it was worth driving all that way so that we could meet her. Be sure to visit her beautiful website to see the lovely photographs she takes of children.....every single one, sweet, inspiring and amazing!!! I will be adding more of her incredible pictures soon. I can't believe how she captured the light, the shadows and the feeling of our houses and little furniture. The most beautiful pictures of our artwork that anyone has ever taken!!! Here's a link to her wonderful website. If you visit her blog, you can see the beautiful post she did on Mike and I.
