I'm Dreaming of a White Holiday Season
Well, its certainly not white in New Zealand right now. Summers finally shown its face and it's a beautiful day sunny day in Mission Bay and the only white I'll be seeing is the white sands of the nearby beach when I walk Poppy later. Don't you wish you were in NZ right now. St Heliers looking towards Rangitoto Island, where I will be walking Poppy along the sands this evening. I had a lovely Christmas day with my mum and some friends and my younger son, with my other son popping in later along with Africa his dog. Initially Christmas day I had a bit of a set back, first I overslept as my new "smart" phone was not so smart and the alarm didn't go off....then later on I realised my turkey had been in the oven for an hour and a half and was not cooking, I had set it on "defrost" instead of fan bake! So it was a very late lunch but still delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The only detrimental thing about Christmas dinner in Summer time is...
