Modern House Minimalist Design

This will be another quick post with several photos but very little text. My poor little kiddos have been sick so much this winter. I thought we were finally over the hump this weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had such a fun weekend and they were both feeling great and seemed recovered from being so sick the weekend before. Well, no such luck - ugh! Anyway, so there is no time to write but I did want to let you all know that our Somewhere Over the Rainbow Prints are now in stock! We have the 11 by 14's available as seen in these photos (and you can see a tiny glimpse of a post that I will be sharing in early May where our living room looks quite a bit different): And it is also available in an 8 by 10 print : And then of course the 24 by 36 digital download that you can print out and frame yourself (here is my copy that I printed at Staples and framed):   As soon as life slows down a bit and I have time to sit down and write some coherent sentences I have some exciting ...

I hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend! Today I wanted to share with you one of our newest chalkboard designs. I think so far this one is my favorite. I did this one while my cousins, Sarah and Lauren were visiting so they helped me get the word DREAM right. And for the prints and download I tweaked things a tiny bit more but I'll show you those tomorrow once they are available in our shop! For now, though, here is the original chalkboard: And don't forget our SALE that lasts through midnight tonight!  Use the code EASTER30 for 30% OFF *The code will work on everything in stock except for the chalkboard downloads. It will work fine on the chalkboard prints - just not the downloads.  I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday! I'll be back tomorrow with the download and print!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday! I just wanted to pop in and let you know that some of our prints are now available in an 8 by 10 size ! I'll be back tomorrow! Have a lovely weekend!

A couple of months ago I showed you this chalkboard I did in our family room. Well, we finally have it available in our shop now as both a print and a download ! We've had this up in our home for three months now and probably will have it up a while longer because I love this quote. We used this quote (along with some other ones) in our wedding program. Here is the 11x14 print   (please note the price on this right now is the same as all of our other prints, but we will be increasing the prices on all of our prints at some point tomorrow): And here is the download : I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday!

Whew! What a busy weekend we had! On Friday we welcomed a new member into the family and began moving Dear Lillie into a new, permanent location! We had not expected it to happen this way but Jamie's baby arrived and papers were signed all within about an hour and a half time span - so needless to say it's been a pretty hectic weekend. As crazy as it's been though, we couldn't be more excited and I will share more info about both things as soon as I have a chance. Knowing both of these events would be happening soon (we just didn't expect them to be happening at the same time!) we spent quite a bit of time the past couple of weeks getting lots and lots of blog posts ready for the upcoming couple of weeks and then as soon as I have a chance to take photos of the new baby and our new space and really get on my computer and type we will introduce them both to you! The way that Jason has scheduled the moving process it should not have any effect on any orders or shippin...

Chalkboard art is everywhere these days! I am completely fascinated by it and want to keep playing around with it and try to get more creative with my lettering. I know there are a lot of people though, that enjoy it but don't necessarily want to spend hours working on just one quote so being able to download a chalkboard someone else has designed, print it out and pop it in a frame is a great alternative - especially if you like to change your art our seasonally or for different holidays. We just started offering our downloads a couple of weeks ago so only have a few options right now in our shop , but we have several more that are almost ready to go and a whole bunch more ideas in the works. Hopefully within a few more months we will have a wide variety for you to choose from for a whole bunch of different themes and events.  Anyway, I've been promising to show you how I've been swapping out the chalkboard prints in this frame for the past week or two and finally was a...
