Modern House Minimalist Design

  Just a little chalkboard I did with Valentine's Day in mind. We are getting excited because it looks like in the VERY near future we will be selling prints and downloads of our chalkboard art . In fact, we may have our first download one available tomorrow or Friday! This first one will be not be my handwriting but we have those in the works and may have them available as soon as late next week! Those ones we will be selling as prints and we are just waiting on the high end paper to arrive and making sure we get the prints just right. Once we do we will be listing them. We have one ready to go as soon as the paper arrives and several more in the works!  And then hopefully later this year we will be selling some actual chalkboards, but that will probably still be a little ways off.  The girls and I did some Valentine's decorating the last two days and I took a bunch of photos so once I get them onto my computer and start editing them I will have a few Valentine's related...

I took this photograph of Rangitoto  Island while on my daily walk. I think it suited this weeks thought perfectly. Staying with the theme of inspirational quotes I came across  the book  below,  "Everything is going to be ok" through Amazon. Aristotle I like this quote from Aristotle and try to keep it in the forefront of my mind, probably why I have times when I throw myself intensely into something new.  I am a believer in trying to make life  interesting by experiencing new things which in return usually brings more happiness. Today I received an email from International Artist Magazine saying I had been selected for the next stage of their still life and flowers competition.  I entered the competition with my painting "Inspiration" . Inspiration - oil on canvas 1.20metres x 1.20 metres I am not only excited but honored and "happy" as this is a world wide competition from a popular Art magazine. If I only get a mention in their magazine I will be ecstatic!  I will keep you informed if I manage to progress further.
