Lynch Creek Farms Christmas Giveaway

Image
For years I have used my own homemade garland and greenery cut from nearby woods and occasionally picked up some things from Lowe's. Well, last year as our photo shoot approached and my greenery was started to dry out (the shoot wasn't until mid January) I decided to splurge and order some fresh new greenery. I had some trouble finding anything available seeing how Christmas had come and gone at that point but saw that Kate from Centsational Girl had mentioned using Lynch Creek Farm the prior year. I went on their website and ordered a bunch of garland and several wreaths. I was absolutely delighted when they arrived. They wreaths were huge and so lush! Here is one of the wreaths on our porch last year: and here in our dining room: This year they were so sweet and sent me boxes full of greenery including the garland on my chandelier and the gorgeous Southern Magnolia wreath above our buffet:  And two of these darling window wreaths (I will show you where I put the other on...

Rustic-living Room

Rustic-living Room  A rattan sofa brings a rustic feel to a living room. Here, a country-style checked fabric has been used for the blind and the cushion, for a homely feel, while a cosy throw offers warmth on cooler days. Natural Living Room

Natural Living Room For a natural, earthy look, combine neutral walls with dark woods. The sisal rug and wooden table complement each other and are perfectly matched by a rattan chair. Choose a striped fabric from Roger Oates, which is draped over the sofa, accessorised by cushions from Matalan. Finish off the look with a rattan lamp. A living room is your showcase for the benefit of guests, which means you must put your best foot forward in this space. Whether you have an extra-large living room or one that is just big enough to fit in a sofa set, the Paint Colors For Living Room designs can totally change its mood and feel. While gray color for the walls adds a cool and classy touch, reds and oranges are great if you want a bright splash of colors and warmth. You can also use color coordinated schemes and a play of patterns for the furniture and walls of your living room. If you have light wooden floors you can continue the wood theme with light beige or brown walls. Painting the liv...

Random musings and off to Palm Beach!

Good morning! I  hope you have had a great week, it is amazing that we are less than a month away from Christmas!! Do you feel the pressure yet? My week has been super busy but productive. I feel like I am juggling many balls in the air and on top of that I have been waking up at a ridiculously early time every morning (think 4ish)  therefore I am anxious for a little relaxation.  Think this will be the ONLY four relaxing days I will have in all of December! So, I am off today to beautiful Palm Beach, really looking forward to a 3 day mini break from well.......everything :) Such a beautiful jewel of a place, I plan on getting some much needed relaxation, rest, indulging in a few great meals, and maybe hopefully some retail therapy! Any suggestions that you feel compelled to share.....please by all means, let me know.  In the meantime...things are getting awfully busy around here. By next week hope to have my tree up and my front door wreath. Though I like to h...
