Valentine’s Breakfast
I adore Saturday mornings…especially those where we don’t have to pop out of bed for a nine o’clock basketball game. This morning we leisurely prepared a yummy and easy heart themed breakfast.

For the heart-ish shaped cinnamon rolls, I just cut a slit in the top of each roll and then lightly shaped them into hearts.

As for the heart shaped bacon, based on these directions, I cut each bacon strip in half and then used two halves to form each heart. I sprinkled them with brown sugar and then baked in a rimmed cookie sheet at 400 for twenty minutes. Honey proclaimed it the best he’s ever had.
And speaking of Honey, he’s been smoking a pork shoulder on the Big Green Egg for nearly twenty four hours. I CANNOT wait to dig in tomorrow!!
