A Few Graduation Dress Ups
Our oldest child graduated this past weekend after homeschooling for eleven years.
Bravo! Hooray! Congrats!
We are so proud of him!
So awesome that dad gets to give Keith his diploma.
Homeschooling is definitely a family affair.
After the ceremony, we had a few people over for an informal lunch to celebrate Keith and his big day.
Because Keith doesn’t like a lot attention drawn to himself, I decided to just add a few little “party touches” here and there.
This little chalkboard greeted our guests as they arrived.
I made this simple little banner with my tea stained tags and hung each one with a mini clothespin.
Words are always nice additions to any dƩcor.
Fresh flowers always make people smile.
I was able to add another personal touch by using photos of Keith growing up. I put them on an old cabinet door that I had picked up at an estate sale.
Such sweet memories of this child.
I added a little extra seating by bringing in these old theater seats.
A couple of more photos added so that mama could ooo and ahhh over her baby boy…I mean young man.
We didn’t go overboard with decorations, but added a few simple touches that worked just perfectly for the occasion. Most of all, we had a wonderful day with family and friends celebrating Keith and all of his accomplishments.
Congratulations to those of you who also had children or grandchildren graduating this year. Sweet times!!
