Inspiration From The Blogasphere 6 - Food, DIY & More
I haven't had a great deal of time this week to spend on the blog but still managed to find some inspiration from around the world. I love to see "up-cycled" objects like these fabulous light bulbs below re-designed by David Saltzberg and available from his Etsy shop, Sasquatchs Creations.
I'll be sharing with:
A while ago I shared Jenny Hobicks diy Ottoman, today I've found another clever idea, upcycling a coffee table into a tasteful ottoman from Not So Newly Wed McGees a blog with lots of lovely ideas.
Love these stenciled Moroccan stairs - image via Wanelo
Great chalkboard idea - hop over to Dear Lillie to see step by step instructions on "how to".
Just some pretty inspiration for your next cupcakes, we always strive to make our cupcakes colourful but these simple white cupcakes are gorgeous - image via tumbler (Life Without Worries).
Still on icing... fellow kiwi blogger, Rachel McMahon from one of my favourite blogs, "Made From Scratch" now runs baking courses and her ruffle cake is one of the fun things you can learn to create. If your lucky enough to be living in New Zealand, and would like to book into one of Rachel's classes, please see her baking schedule "here". Once I get my life back into order and the fact that Rachel is in Auckland, I am going to ask her if she will run a class on how to ice "roses" like the ones on the cup cake above.
There's nothing nicer than settling into a corner on a sunny day with a new book, a cup of coffee and scrumptious slice of Brownie. I discovered a Raspberry cheesecake brownie on a food blog called "Call Me Cupcake".
More from "Call me Cupcake", a delicious simple cherry trifle....
Call Me Cupcake is full of delicious recipes and wonderful food photography so please hop over and take a look. You will find the trifle recipe "here" (You will find an English version to this recipe on one of their images, you should also have a translator pop up at the top of your page)
