Rosemary Beach: Toes in the Water
We finally managed to tear ourselves away from the cool, clear water of the Cabana pool to spend a day with our toes in the Gulf. The littlest ones loved digging in the sand and playing in the surf while John spent hours on end with the skim board.
When the first thunderstorm of the week started to roll in, we ran back to the house, changed clothes and then headed back out for divine renditions of real New Orleans Sno Balls. The gals and Sister’s Mister enjoyed the storm from the porch, the little ones played trains, the PCP and his Daddy headed upstairs to geek on their computers and Daddy-O snuck a nap.
When the rain caused the evening’s Kid’s Block Party to be cancelled, we heated up delish casseroles from Cowgirl Kitchen and then sent the men out for our regular banana split night-cap from Sugar Shak – mine with peanut butter cup ice cream, pretty please!
And that wraps up another day at the beach!
